Kenosha Tremper High School Wrestling Program – Varsity & JV Program

 In 2023-2024, the Tremper Wrestling Team completed another successful season. The Varsity Team compiled a dual record of 17-4. In the SEC Conference, the Trojans were Runner-up as a team in season duals, 3rd place at the conference tourney, and had 5 conference finalists with Landen Gontscharow as the lone Champion, along with Runner-ups Alex Donkor, Ethan Albarran, Rory Dutton, and Brian Zoromskis.

At the WIAA Regional tourney, Tremper finished 3rd overall at Regionals with 11 wrestlers qualifying for the WIAA Sectional Tournament. The team wrestled well at the WIAA Sectionals, but fell just short of qualifying for the WIAA State Tourney. Landen Gontscharow completed an outstanding day at the sectional and qualified for the WIAA state tournament. Landen wrestled well in Madison, but did not place at the tourney. Great job Landen as he represented Tremper well.

Likewise, the Tremper Junior Varsity Team equaled the success of the varsity team in the dual meets wrestled. Many individuals finished with major individual improvements.
